Large or heavy items ship out by LTL Freight, once your shipment arrives at your local terminal the freight company will call to set up a delivery appointment. Upon arrival, the driver will lower the package to the ground and, utilizing a pallet jack, place it curbside or at the end of your driveway (as per the curbside delivery policy).  Generally speaking, if the driveway is paved (they cannot go through rocks, gravel, grass, or mud) the driver may roll it into a carport or garage (if possible) but this is not guaranteed by the Curbside Delivery service. Placement of the item in your home and package removal are not provided.

NOTE: LTL freight means the order is shipping on a large delivery truck.  Think 18-wheeler or semi-truck.  If you live on an island only accessible by ferry or a subdivision where the truck is not able to pass, you will need to arrange for pickup at the local terminal or delivery to another location.

It is important to keep all packaging materials in the event you need to return your purchase.  With the all-time high pallet prices, the shipping company may offer to haul the pallet off but do inspect everything carefully before giving up the pallet, which will be necessary in the event of a return.  If there is any damage, it must be reported within three days. The process of a return is the reverse of the delivery.

This is a large, heavy item, so you may want to arrange to have additional people help you on the day of delivery. For clawfoot tubs or large kitchen sinks an ideal scenario would be to have the plumber available to set the tub or sink up in the house upon arrival.
